Meaning of Harivarasanam

Harivarasanam literally means “One who sits in the abode of Lord Vishnu (Hari)”. This hymn is composed of eight verses (ashtakam) in Sanskritized Malayalam and praises Lord Ayyappa as a divine, powerful, and benevolent protector.
